Dear NeuroMoves Lismore Community,

In light of the updated weather warnings regarding Cyclone Alfred, NeuroMoves Lismore and Goonellabah will be closed on Thursday, March 6th, and Friday, March 7th.

Similar to the 2022 floods, the University of Southern Cross (USC) has been designated as a potential evacuation centre for the Northern Rivers. At this time, due to the uncertainty surrounding the cyclone’s impact, USC is unable to confirm if or when they will begin receiving evacuees or how long the centre will remain in operation.

Should USC become an evacuation centre, we will move all of our sessions from Lismore to Goonellabah and will communicate further details as needed.

This community has faced so much already, and we remain hopeful that the effects of this event will be minimal. Please know that, just as we did in 2022, we are here to support you no matter what.

If you have any concerns or questions with the above please do not hesitate to contact me directly on 03 7003 5105 or jhansson@scia.org.au

Please take care, stay safe, and follow all SES and government advice.
