  • NDIS

    We’re proud to be an NDIS provider. NeuroMoves can be funded under your NDIS Capacity Building Supports budget.

  • My Aged Care

    Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy can be funded under Levels 3 and 4 of your Home Care Package (HCP).

  • Insurance

    We work with all major insurance companies and will liaise with your case manager to organise funding. Please contact us to discuss your options further.

  • Private Payment

    NeuroMoves accepts private paying clients. We can direct debit or invoice you for our service. We are proud to offer a fee subsidy for anyone undergoing significant financial hardship.

Since 2007, Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA) has proudly offered NeuroMoves, a specialised service designed to support individuals with disabilities and neurological conditions. SCIA was founded over 50 years ago by people living with spinal cord injury, SCIA is a leading organisation dedicated to advocating for people with spinal and neurological conditions throughout Australia.

Through expert, evidence-based care and a deep understanding rooted in lived experience, SCIA's vision—embodied by NeuroMoves—is to create a world where individuals with spinal and neurological conditions, along with their families, can truly thrive.

A. NeuroMoves is located across Australia in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Australian Capital Territory. Check out our locations to find a NeuroMoves near you!

A. Yes! Our Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists are highly skilled and work with people who have various neuropathies and disabilities.

A. NeuroMoves offer home visits for people who are unable to attend sessions in our gyms. We work with you to use household objects, exercise equipment you may already have and in addition, we can bring equipment to you.

Our team of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists will help you achieve your goals in your home setting and guide you safely in exercises that are relevant to your personal situation and condition.

A. NeuroMoves is a NDIS provider. Our Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists are funded under your Capacity Building (CB) Supports – Improved Daily Living or Improved Health and Wellbeing.

A. NeuroMoves is a NDIS provider; however, we also accept:  

  • My Aged Care 
  • Third party insurances 
  • Private health insurance 
  • Private payment 
  • Medicare, if deemed appropriate by a General Practitioner 
  • As part of a Chronic Disease Management Plan

A. If you are unable to attend a session, you must provide NeuroMoves with two (2) business days’ notice of your cancellation.

If you fail to notify NeuroMoves two (2) business days before your scheduled appointment, NeuroMoves will charge a fee for the cancellation which is 100% of the cost of the session.

If our NeuroMoves team is required to cancel your session, we will give you as much notice as possible. We will endeavour to re-book your session and if we are unable to find a new time that is suitable for you, you will not be charged for this session.
