Why NeuroMoves
Founded in 2007, NeuroMoves was born out of a heartfelt desire to provide those with neurological conditions with the opportunity to improve the way they move.

How You Can Access NeuroMoves
You’re here because you want to gain your mobility, your strength, health and independence.
We offer face-to-face sessions at our specialised NeuroMoves gyms, home visits and online telehealth services. We can help you figure out what’s best for you and your schedule.

In the Gym
Our tailored programs help improve mobility, strength, and independence - empowering you to achieve your goals with hands-on support from our skilled professionals. Our welcoming and inclusive environment house state-of-the-art accessible equipment and adaptive strength machines for everybody.
Home Visits
Our Home Visit service saves you time and takes the hassle away from organising and relying on transport or carers to attend your sessions.
We will collaborate with you to assess your home environment using household items and exercise equipment you may already have at home. If needed, we will bring equipment to maximise your sessions and give you a challenging workout.
Telehealth
We provide Telehealth as individual sessions or online group sessions. You can tap into our Telehealth service to keep up with your fitness wherever you are. We are determined to be able to deliver the same level of intensity as you would with a gym session. It's a great way to keep motivated and connected to your community.
Available nationally, your Telehealth individual or group session may include:
• Upper body strengthening
• Cardio fitness training

What Our Clients Have To Say About Us
I like the social aspect the most. I love the fact that I get to see the NeuroMoves staff and other clients regularly in a fun, happy, inclusive setting. I also like the fact that the gym equipment is all tailored to suit wheelchair users like me but also my upright peers too. Finally, the staff all possess specific knowledge on SCI and other neurological conditions which makes them very helpful when recommending specific exercises or any other tips and tricks that might help with my workout.
I suffered a spinal cord injury in a motor vehicle accident 2 years ago and have been attending NeuroMoves since my discharge from hospital in Dec 2021.
I am currently a full-time wheelchair user, originally from the UK – therefore I have no family support around me.
Attending NeuroMoves improved my quality of life by maximising my mobility and function whilst educating me on aspects of my condition that were not explained to me whilst in hospital.
The NeuroMoves team have equipped me with the skills and confidence to live my life as independently as possible and integrate back into the community whilst achieving my goals and improving my health and wellbeing.
Physio has helped to improve my overall strength & given me more independence with all my ADLs – such as opening bathroom doors, carrying a cup of coffee, walking up & down stairs with assistance & making my delicious morning porridge 🤍 Grateful!
Finding NeuroMoves and the support available was a pivotal moment in my journey. It’s through their focus and continuing supportive that I have been able to journey down roads of physical self-development and assistive tech support that I did not previously know existed.
I have been a member of NeuroMoves for over 3 years and I can confidently say that it has had significant impact for me, physically and mentally. The EPs and physios are knowledgeable and supportive, and the facilities are top-notch. I have seen significant improvements in my strength, endurance, and overall health since joining. What I love most about this space is the sense of community and camaraderie among members. It’s more than just a place to work out – it’s a place where I feel supported, motivated, and inspired to be my best self.
I love coming to NeuroMoves, the atmosphere is great, the therapists are engaging and fun, and I’m pushed to continually improve and maintain my fitness and independence.
